Using SAS
_
SellerAmp SAS (Sourcing Analysis Simplified) is 3 tools in 1 subscription (web app, mobile app, Chrome extension) that helps you quickly answer the key Amazon Arbitrage sourcing questions: Can I sell it? Does it sell? Is it profitable?
The Web app is a straightforward website interface that allows you to source products directly in the browser; the mobile app allows you to hunt for deals on the go, and the Chrome extension helps you source products from any website you’re searching on. Your analysis history, settings and preferences are shared across all 3 tools, so you don’t miss a beat.

The SAS Web App and Chrome Extension require full version of Google Chrome. SAS is not compatible with Chrome derivatives like Chromium or Safari, or with other browsers (Firefox, Edge, Explorer).

To give access to another member of your team, you will need to provide them with access to your Seller Central account. Grant them permission via Settings & User Permission.
In the main Seller Central account go to Settings -> User Permissions. From the list of Current Users click Manage Permissions (If the user is not a Current User, just add them via Add New User). In the User Permissions table go to the Inventory section and Manage Inventory/Add a Product. Give View & Edit permission. In the Settings section, in Mange Your Cases, give them View & Edit permission. Click Continue at the bottom of the screen to save the settings.

Definitely visit your Settings (cog) in any of the tools, where you can set up your Default Marketplace, Buying Criteria, Additional Costs and VAT Settings (where applicable). Without these set up, SAS can still conduct analysis, but won’t return indications based on the results you seek. Within Settings you can also set up Default Values, Tags and Panel settings (off/on, rearrange). To get an idea of what others SellerAmp sellers are using, watch the video tutorial here.

SellerAmp SAS Settings

Access settings on any of the SAS tools. There you can set your VAT status. SAS will then take this into account when performing calculations and add the applicable VAT.
See our recent article on VAT here.
_
Bonus Question: How do I factor in VAT in my analysis?
Within your SAS Settings, you have the ability to set up your VAT status, which will then be factored into calculations when performing analysis. Note that you can manually adjust a product’s VAT settings when you analyze by adjusting the VAT Settings panel. This is helpful when VAT on a specific product or category varies.
See our recent article on VAT here.

BSR stands for Best Sellers Rank and is Amazon’s way of showing how a product sells versus other products in the same category. A product with a BSR of 1,000 is the 1,000th best selling product in that category at that moment. BSR’s continually fluctuate with better selling products being re-ranked more frequently.
Since categories are so large, an easier way to reference BSR is the percentile. The lower the percentile, the better the BSR. So a BSR percentile of 2% means that product is in the top 2% of sellers in its category.
To give you a good perspective on BSR and the number of products in different categories, SellerAmp have a Sales Rank table available for use. It is free and updated daily!
_
Within your Settings you can set the high and low parameters for Minimum and Maximum BSR (Best Sellers Rank) percentile, the Minimum profit amount you seek and the Minimum ROI (return on investment) as a percentage versus your cost. SAS will use these to help give quick indications if a profit meets these criteria through green (yes) and red (no) shading. How you set these is up to you though as each seller has their own objectives!
