We’ve added a new alert to show if a product is classed as “Meltable”. You cannot fulfill meltable products via FBA during the warmer times of the year.

The dates and temperatures can be different based on the country. As an example:

Amazon (UK):

Meltable refers to heat-sensitive products that are eaten or swallowed, including chocolate, gums, and probiotics. Chocolates, gums, and probiotics will not be fulfilled through FBA from May 15 to September 30.

Products in fulfilment centres must be able to withstand a minimum temperature of 10°C and a maximum temperature of 30°C during the product’s shelf life without hurting its quality.

Amazon (US):

FBA accepts meltable products from October 16 to April 14 only. Meltable inventory stored or arriving at our fulfillment centers from April 15 to October 15 is marked unfulfillable and disposed of for a fee.

Products in Amazon fulfillment centers must meet quality standards during the summer months (75 to 155 degrees Fahrenheit). This temperature range is set to protect product integrity during product storage and shipping
